Create Media Group — Strategic digital communications

Create is a strategic digital communications agency specializing in mobile-first content, web development, digital strategy, social media, and more. LangFort partnered with Create to meet the complex transcreation needs of its clients, including NEOM, and Dubai Tourism. Among these, NEOM presented the most challenging requirements in terms of scope and size..

NEOM — Giga-project transcreation

As one of the giga-projects under Saudi Vision 2030, NEOM required extensive transcreation services. LangFort began working on NEOM's content in December 2021, starting with the Trojena website, which was transcreated from English into Chinese, German, French, Japanese, and Russian.

LangFort then assembled a dedicated team of renowned copywriters to deliver creative translations for NEOM over the next three years. This included various webpages, sector and regional campaigns such as Sindalah, THE LINE, Energy, Food, Tourism, TONOMUS, and more. LangFort ensured that every nuance and tone in the source material was captured and localized for the target audience, sometimes in as many as 19 languages.

UX/UI optimization was done via FileStage, a platform used by NEOM to review and manage feedback on all creative assets including webpages, infographics, images, and video subtitles. To date, LangFort has transcreated over 135,000 English words for NEOM.

Dubai Tourism — Traveler advocacy

Dubai was named the ‘#1 DESTINATION IN THE 2022 TRIPADVISOR TRAVELLERS’ CHOICE AWARDS’. This presented the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism with a unique opportunity to encourage travelers to pick Dubai as their next holiday destination by leveraging advocacy from other travelers.

They wanted to use genuine reviews from Tripadvisor to boost travelers’ interest and encourage their potential trips. LangFort helped identify and transcreate reviews from French and German pages of TripAdvisor.com so that they could be used by the client on social media and VisitDubai.com.

Expo2020 — Multilingual pavilion content

Expo2020 Dubai was a global platform where participants from 192 nations showcased solutions to major global challenges and highlighted business opportunities. LangFort helped transcreate all content that was on display at the Cuba and Guinea pavilions from English into Spanish and French, respectively. This included standees, banners, brochures, and multimedia formats.

With French, our copywriters had to produce a tone and choice of words that would blend well with Standard French and at the same time feel natural to locals from Guinea and other French-speaking African countries. There were also several animated folklores in both French and Spanish that needed to be transcribed and translated into English in such a way that the stories maintained their appeal and intrigued the visitor.

Bateel International — Ecommerce localization

Bateel, a name synonymous with luxury and fine food in the Middle East, is world-renowned for delivering the finest culinary experiences, offering exquisite gourmet dates, chocolates, butter cookies, and premium gifting options.

In February 2020, Bateel embarked on a mission to translate its entire ecommerce platform of approximately 160,000 into four languages. This ambitious project had to be completed within 21 days to ensure timely marketing campaigns ahead of Ramadan 2020. After a competitive selection process, LangFort was chosen to tackle this challenge.

LangFort embraced the challenge by integrating Bateel’s Content Management System (CMS) with its Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools through API integration. This innovative approach allowed content to be seamlessly pushed for translation directly from Bateel’s CMS, eliminating manual and cumbersome processes. UX/UI optimization was done by our team of proofreaders using our in-context preview tool, which allowed them to edit the translations to align with the design. The result was a smooth and continuous translation experience.

Thanks to LangFort’s dedication and technological prowess, the project was completed on time, meeting Bateel’s tight deadline. Since then, LangFort has continued to support Bateel, translating over 350,000 words in total, solidifying a successful and ongoing partnership.

Bukhash Brothers — #ABtalks (weekly show)

Bukhash Brothers produces #ABtalks, a YouTube interview show shining the spotlight on the 'raw' side of celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, and influencers as human beings. It premieres on YouTube every Tuesday at 9.00 PM Gulf Standard Time and is one of the top trending shows on social media.

Bukhash Brothers was looking for a reliable LSP that had the capacity to deliver transcription, translation, and subtitling of longform interviews on a regular basis. Average duration of an interview was around 90 minutes and had 1 or 2 languages appearing on screen. The timeline was very tight, and the quality had to be ‘print-ready’ for the airing schedule to be met.

LangFort used its sophisticated Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) tool that leveraged AI to generate transcripts that were between 85-99% accurate. A human transcriber would then have to only review the transcript and remove any errors, saving around 75% of the time and cost required to transcribe the entire video by a person. The translation and multimedia team would take over from that point on and complete the project within its deadline.

What started as a one-off task is now a full-time project with its own dedicated team of resources delivering around 6–8 longform interviews per month in various languages. Through this successful collaboration, LangFort has proven its ability to provide high-quality, efficient language services, helping Bukhash Brothers continue to captivate their audience with #ABtalks.

Royal Caribbean is an award-winning global cruise brand with a 50-year legacy of innovation, introducing industry ‘firsts’ and delivering great family getaways to wow guests across multiple generations.

In 2024, Royal Caribbean decided to tap into the Saudi market and was looking for a reliable LSP that to ability to localize their website on a rolling-basis. Phase I included 10 webpages which needed to be localized in less than 5 days, right before New Year’s Eve as the client wanted the website launch to coincide with their social media campaign starting from January 01, 2025.

This is when our Figma plugin came in handy. It allowed Royal Caribbean to share frames that they wanted us to translate. At our end, we were able to get an instant view of our translated Figma designs with live preview, which meant translation and UX/UI optimization was happening concurrently. Upon completion, the optimized translations were pushed back to Figma with a single-click.

The plugin significantly reduced turnaround time, allowing LangFort to meet the deadline during peak holiday season. We are now preparing for second phase of translations expected to commence during Ramadan with a completion deadline before Eid.

DT One — Centralized translation management

DT One is a B2B mobile payment network that operates a global airtime remittance hub. Its products interconnect mobile operators’ prepaid systems and financial institutions to deliver international airtime remittance services under the DT One brand name.

LangFort pitched its online Translation Management System (TMS), Legion, to DT One. Legion enabled DT One to upload all their content directly via a web-portal, select target languages, review and approve quotations, monitor real-time progress, and download completed translations. After rigorous testing, DT One signed up with LangFort because of the simplicity and strength of Legion.

These included rewording the script to the Emirati dialect, casting Emirati voice talents to maintain authenticity, and creating a jingle that would resonate with local sensibilities.

LangFort’s team of expert copywriters and music composers, specializing in Emirati linguistic and cultural nuances, took on the task of localizing the script and jingle. Our copywriters meticulously reworded each episode’s script to ensure it was in the Emirati dialect, making the content relatable and engaging for the target audience while our music composers crafted a jingle that resonated with local cultural themes, enhancing the series’ appeal.

By leveraging our extensive resource network, we cast the perfect Emirati voice talents for each role. We also engaged actors skilled in voicing multiple characters, optimizing costs without compromising quality. LangFort managed the entire production process, including recording, editing, and mastering the audio tracks, ensuring a seamless and high-quality final product that met Spacetoon’s high standards.

We used our Adobe InDesign plugin to import all text and formatting data into our TMS to proofread. Our Translation Memory tool allowed changes made at one place to be reflected in all repetitive segments instantly, reducing turnaround time.
